




Job Summary: An accredited laboratory seeks a Quality Management professional with metrology experience to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of the QMS. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). 2. Implement, maintain, and audit the QMS in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017. 3. WE ARE LOOKING FOR Quality Management Engineer (ISO/IEC 17025) LOCATION El Marqués, Querétaro (On-site) Must reside near the area WORK HOURS Monday to Friday | 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. JOB DESCRIPTION An accredited laboratory operating under ISO/IEC 17025:2017 seeks a Quality Management professional with experience in metrology, result assurance, and management systems. The role aims to ensure regulatory compliance, maintain active accreditation, safeguard technical impartiality, and lead the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS). MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Implement, maintain, and audit the QMS in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Plan and conduct internal audits; manage external audits by accreditation bodies. Lead the closure of nonconformities through root cause analysis and tracking of corrective/preventive actions. Ensure result validity: coordinate proficiency testing, use of reference materials, and trend analysis. Control and update technical documentation, procedures, methods, and certificates. Evaluate staff technical competence and manage signatory authorizations. Apply risk-based thinking and ensure laboratory impartiality. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Engineering degree (Metrology, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Electronics) or Bachelor’s degree in physical-mathematical sciences. Minimum 2–3 years of experience, preferably with ISO/IEC 17025. Proficiency in measurement uncertainty calculation (GUM), metrological traceability (VIM), and applied statistics for measurement processes. Verifiable training or certification in ISO/IEC 17025:2017 interpretation and Internal Auditing. Knowledge of technical guidelines issued by accreditation bodies (EMA, ANAB, ENAC, etc.).
