Continuous updating in optometry CERTIFIED OPTOMETRIST Purpose: To provide specialized visual health care to optical store customers by conducting vision examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and advising on ocular health care. What Are We Looking for in This Position? Graduate in Optometry. License or certification to practice the profession. Continuous updating on advancements in the field of optometry. Knowledge of various types of lenses and treatments for visual impairments. What Are the Responsibilities? Perform comprehensive vision examinations. Prescribe corrective lenses according to each customer's needs. Advise customers on maintaining their visual health. Collaborate with other optical professionals to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain branch inventory control. Keep optometric equipment in optimal working condition.
