Position Summary: We are seeking a FIAS Unit Leader to perform analyses using the Flow Injection Analysis System and automated colorimetry for water samples, ensuring reliable and accurate results. We are seeking a FIAS Unit Leader for our laboratory in Álvaro Obregón, responsible for performing analyses using the Flow Injection Analysis System (FIAS) and automated colorimetry for water samples, ensuring reliable, accurate, and traceable results. · Responsibilities Operation of FIAS systems for automated analysis. Application of colorimetric and UV/Visible spectrophotometric techniques. Preparation of solutions and standards following accredited procedures. Complete, organized, and traceable recording of activities and results. Coordination of activities among team members within the unit. Accountability for results and delivery timelines, including result reports or progress updates. · Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biochemistry (degree required). Experience: At least one year in a similar role with personnel reporting to the candidate. Knowledge in: Colorimetry (preferably, though traditional methods are acceptable). UV/Vis spectrophotometry.
