**Mechanical Designer** Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Experience in the metal-mechanical industry. **Knowledge:** Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Materials (steels and plastics). Heat treatments. Measuring instruments. Geometric tolerances—ASME/AISI standards. Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings. **Skills:** Responsible, decision-making, proactive, analytical, accustomed to working toward goals and under pressure, frustration-tolerant. **Responsibilities:** Dimension and design parts using fabrication drawings. Release production orders. Procure materials and services required for orders. Customer service: conduct on-site surveys at customer facilities. Implement customer-requested modifications to drawings and issue rework orders.
