By prioritizing employee growth and development, we empower everyone to reach their full potential on their own terms, because the best work happens when you are free to be yourself and share your unique expertise. #### **Our Benefits** With our employees’ well\-being top of mind, we offer a comprehensive and competitive Benefits Program, which includes the following: * Insurance plans *(Medical, life insurance, and more)* * Employee Assistance Program * Competitive base salary ### **What will you contribute to the team?** * Perform mechanical design using CATIA V5 and oversee the production of detail drawings and installation drawings for work packages under your responsibility. * Interpret aerospace-related technical specifications to develop solutions meeting assigned design requirements. * Support production operations on Bombardier’s multi-platform aircraft programs (Challenger 350 / 650 and Global 5500 / 6500 / 7500\). * Understand and resolve airframe and systems issues by providing technical support to multi-site assembly lines (QRO, Dorval, Toronto). * Work closely with other disciplines such as stress analysis, materials and processes, systems, flight sciences, design, methods, quality, and operations to achieve the company’s business objectives. * Participate in projects aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste, and improving financial performance. * Plan and meet project schedules while adhering to allocated budgets. * Lead projects and support colleagues’ development. * Collaborate with experienced, dynamic, and effective multidisciplinary teams dedicated to projects to achieve results. * Work collaboratively with internal and external suppliers to support the manufacturing team as needed. * Be involved in the physical realization of your designs by accompanying, as a designer, the fabrication, assembly, and installation phases of your deliverables. ### **How will you thrive in this role?** * You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering with eight (8\) years or more of experience, or a technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering with twelve (12\) years of experience in a similar position. * You possess excellent knowledge of the CATIA V5 design and modeling software. * You have solid knowledge and experience in aircraft structural/systems installation design. * You have substantial experience in machined parts, sheet metal part design, and fabrication. * You demonstrate strong accountability, sound practical and technical judgment, and flexibility. * You are energetic, a good listener, and highly interested in teamwork. * You are able to manage priorities. * You are able to work under pressure to meet design deadlines. * You are familiar with Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint and Excel. * You possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills in English and French. * Knowledge of composite design and Fibersim software is an asset. **Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!** Please note: You don’t need *all* the skills, knowledge, and experience listed to apply for this position!
