




**Ecological Park Chipinque, located in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, is seeking:** **Access Control Guard** Job Mission: Responsible for ensuring orderly, safe, and responsible access to Ecological Park Chipinque, protecting its biodiversity and scenic beauty, and fostering among visitors a culture of respect for and conservation of natural areas. This position reports to the Access Coordinator and Medical Area of the Ecological Park Chipinque (PEC). Requirements: * Secondary school or high school diploma. * Prior experience in public service, security, or conservation roles is preferred. * Knowledge of the rules and regulations governing the Natural Reserve. * Ability to work outdoors and in direct contact with nature. * Basic knowledge of first aid and safety techniques (desirable but not mandatory). * Good physical condition and health. Knowledge and Skills: * Familiarity with laws, rules, and regulations governing the Natural Reserve. * Ability to ensure visitor and natural area safety. * Capacity to manage large groups of visitors in an orderly and safe manner. * Knowledge of first aid techniques to respond to emergencies. * Ability to operate security equipment such as communication radios and flashlights. * Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with visitors and coworkers. * Empathy: Capacity to understand visitors’ needs and questions and respond courteously. * Patience: Ability to remain calm and courteous in challenging situations. * Teamwork: Collaboration with other access officers and conservation staff. * Service Orientation: Friendly attitude and willingness to assist visitors. * Problem Solving: Skill in identifying and resolving issues related to safety and access. * Professional Ethics: Commitment to ethics and integrity in protecting natural areas. * Computer proficiency and MS Office software skills. Functions or Responsibilities: * Receive and welcome visitors at entrances to the Natural Reserve. * Supervise park access control and welcome visitors. * Provide general information to visitors. * Conduct environmental awareness and education activities to promote responsible visitor behavior. * Collaborate with other access officers and conservation staff on management and conservation projects. * Manage visitor flow and maintain order in high-traffic areas. * Provide information about area rules and regulations, hiking trails, and points of interest. * Check and verify entry permits and other required documents. * Monitor visitor behavior to ensure compliance with regulations. * Respond to emergencies, administer first aid, and coordinate evacuations if necessary. * Report environmental damage, violations, and any significant incidents to the relevant authorities. Salary: * $11,500 MXN gross monthly.
