Maintenance Supervisor (Education Sector)
**Location:** Chihuahua, Chihuahua
**JOB OBJECTIVE**
Administer, coordinate, and supervise preventive, corrective, and conservation maintenance activities for the facilities of Instituto Educacional América A.C., ensuring optimal operation of infrastructure, equipment, and general services, in compliance with safety, quality, operational efficiency, and applicable regulatory standards.
**JOB PROFILE**
**Education**
* **University-level studies without degree, upper secondary education, or technical background.**
**Experience**
* Minimum 1 year in similar positions.
* Demonstrable experience supervising operational staff.
**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
* 1\. Develop, implement, and monitor the institute's annual preventive and corrective maintenance program for its facilities.
* 2\. Supervise the proper functioning of:
* Electrical installations
* Hydraulic and sanitary systems
* Air conditioning and heating systems
* Physical infrastructure
* Sports and recreational areas
* Institutional equipment
* 1\. Coordinate and supervise maintenance and custodial operational staff, assigning tasks and verifying goal achievement.
* 2\. Promptly address and follow up on reports of failures, defects, or incidents related to infrastructure and general services.
* 3\. Manage inventory of tools, materials, spare parts, and supplies required for department operations.
* 4\. Verify compliance with safety and hygiene standards within the facilities.
* 5\. Participate in institutional inspections and audits related to maintenance, safety, and infrastructure.
* 6\. Prepare periodic reports on activities, incidents, expenses, and maintenance needs for the Administrative Directorate.
* 7\. Coordinate logistics and space adaptation for school, academic, and administrative events.
* 8\. Supervise appropriate use of equipment, tools, and supplies assigned to the department.
* 9\. Propose continuous improvements to optimize resources, reduce operational costs, and preserve institutional infrastructure.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Ensure safe and functional facilities for students, staff, and visitors.
* Maintain institutional infrastructure in optimal condition.
* Comply with established maintenance programs.
* Safeguard assigned tools, equipment, and materials.
* Optimize resources and control departmental operational expenses.
* Guarantee efficient response times to incidents.
