Our leading brands include **ITT Cannon, Enidine, Aerospace Controls** and **kSARIA.** Position Summary: Supervise the operation of production and non-production equipment at the plant; concurrently supervise the mechanic team responsible for implementing corrective and preventive maintenance programs for production and automation processes. Essential Responsibilities: * Receive, review, and schedule work requests submitted by various company departments via reports related to machine and equipment failure repairs. * Prioritize work orders based on the preventive maintenance program and the urgency and operational needs assigned to the plant, allocating available labor resources under their supervision. * Inform their immediate supervisor and the department head of estimated repair times so timely corrective actions can be taken. * Provide support in repairing damaged machinery and equipment by replacing affected components or parts. * Request necessary spare parts, replacement components, tools, or supplies required to execute preventive maintenance and repair machinery and equipment. * Supervise the installation of newly acquired or relocated machinery and equipment within the process. * Develop weekly, monthly, semi-annual, or annual preventive maintenance plans for machinery and equipment, assigning technical personnel to execute them. * Maintain inventory control of spare parts and tools in the Tool Crib area. * Ensure facilities are in good condition to support proper and comfortable performance of tasks. * Provide training to new employees joining the department regarding specific machinery and equipment. * Support the Safety and Hygiene Department in repairs, adjustments, and improvements to machinery and equipment. * Complete required departmental documentation, including reports on completed work, downtime, failures, maintenance activities, etc. * Supervise that personnel under their supervision apply safety rules while repairing machinery or equipment that could endanger their physical integrity or that of others. * Monitor compliance by department personnel with the company’s internal work regulations and safety and hygiene regulations. * Identify employee training needs to define appropriate training courses. * Participate in and support environmental management system activities, such as: training sessions, capacity building, idea contributions, natural resource conservation, and proper handling of materials and hazardous waste. * Suggest improvements or modifications to enhance machinery and equipment productivity, in coordination with the Quality Assurance Engineering Department. * Design modifications, guards, fixtures focused on employee safety and the company’s continuous improvement. * Participate in developing the annual budget in coordination with their immediate supervisor and administer it properly throughout the year. * Energy-saving and renewable energy initiatives. Position Requirements: **EDUCATION:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred. **EXPERIENCE:** * Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance. * Pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, electricity, electronics, compressor operation and maintenance, chemical handling, industrial safety regulations, welding, air conditioning, inventory control systems for spare parts, budget administration. **LANGUAGES:** * 90% bilingual Spanish–English fluency, both spoken and written. * Must be able to identify technical English terminology related to machines, equipment, parts, or components.
