Korean company seeks Injection Engineer LIHAON MEXICO in Santa Rosa, Apodaca, Nuevo León **Category:** Engineering \- Manufacturing **Minimum Education Required:** University degree **Employment Type:** Permanent **Working Hours:** Full-time (8:30am \- 5:30pm) **Work Location:** On-site **Description** **PLASTIC INJECTION ENGINEERING** A Korean manufacturing company about to commence operations is seeking a **Plastic Injection Engineer** · Minimum 2 years’ experience in plastic injection processes within the automotive industry or similar. · Operation of injection machines rated **100 to 300 tons**. · Adjustment and control of process parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, cycle time). · Experience in line start-up and process validation. · Knowledge of mold assembly and disassembly. · Experience in production problem-solving (defects such as flash, burn marks, short shots, warpage, etc.). · Knowledge of engineering plastics (PP, ABS, PC, Nylon, etc.). · Basic knowledge of automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, process control, traceability). · Participation in continuous improvement (scrap reduction, efficiency, cycle time optimization). · Basic/intermediate Excel skills for data analysis. · Experience in process documentation (parameter sheets, work instructions) is desirable. · English proficiency · Experience with APQP, PPAP, or FMEA (desirable). · Experience working with automotive customers (Tier 1 or Tier 2\).
