Knowledge of robot, PLC, and HMI programming. **Job Description** **Temporary position with a duration of 12 months** **Position Objective:** Responsible for planning, executing, and documenting industrial control system upgrade projects—including obsolete software and hardware—to ensure operational continuity, technological improvement, and compliance with safety and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assess the current status of control systems (PLC, HMI, industrial networks, etc.) and identify obsolescence. * Design and implement technology migration plans for obsolete software and hardware. * Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for procurement and installation of new components. • Conduct validation testing and commissioning of upgraded systems. • Document implemented changes and train operations and maintenance personnel. * Ensure compliance with local and international regulations. * Participate in internal and external audits related to automation and control. **Position Requirements:** * Availability to work rotating shifts under the 4x3 schedule. Academic Qualifications: * Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field—or equivalent relevant experience. Experience: * Minimum 3 years in similar roles within industrial environments. * Demonstrable experience in migrating legacy systems (PLC, HMI, industrial networks). * Familiarity with platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Fanuc. Technical Knowledge: * Robot, PLC, and HMI programming. * Industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, DeviceNet). * Communication protocols. * Electrical and functional safety standards. * Experience with Fanuc robots. * Knowledge of electrical schematics and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues. Skills: * Project management. * Collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. * Effective communication with production and maintenance departments. * Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems. * Intermediate-to-advanced technical English.
