Position Summary: We are seeking a Customs Agent to handle merchandise clearance procedures, with experience in government agencies and knowledge of international trade. Key Highlights: 1. Requires experience handling procedures with government agencies. **Oñate, Willy y Compañía** A company with over 50 years of experience in international trade, primarily engaged in customs clearance and reconsignment of international cargo, holding three customs licenses, seeks: **CUSTOMS AGENT** **(TO HANDLE MERCHANDISE CLEARANCE PROCEDURES)** **$12,500 to $13,500 MXN.** **Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.** **Saturday, Half-day.** EDUCATION: Completed undergraduate degree or final semester of **Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, Law, or related field**. GENDER: No preference AGE: No preference EXPERIENCE: * **Experience handling procedures at government agencies to obtain: Permits and Notices required for merchandise clearance.** * Basic knowledge of international trade. * **Familiarity with and ability to handle procedures at agencies such as: COFEPRIS, Ministry of Economy, SEMARNAT.** * Knowledge of Promotion Programs issued by the Ministry of Economy. KNOWLEDGE: * Word and related applications. * Basic English proficiency. * Knowledge of Promotion Programs issued by the Ministry of Economy. RESPONSIBILITIES: * **Submission of Procedures and Permits** to government agencies: **SAT, Ministry of Economy, COFEPRIS, SEMARNAT, etc.** * **Tracking and reporting responses** to procedures via the **VUCEM (Single Window for Foreign Trade).** * Handling simple procedures such as **Importer Registries.** * SAT inquiries. * **Registration of Sanitary Responsible Party.** SKILLS: * Responsible. * Proactive. * Organized. * Eager to learn, integrate, and grow within the company.
