Position Summary: We are seeking a Biochemist with experience in laboratory operations, regulatory compliance, product development, quality control, and sanitary registration management for the dietary supplement industry. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure regulatory compliance of products 2. Supervise laboratory and control quality 3. Stay continuously updated on regulatory changes A company in the dietary supplement industry is looking for a **Biochemist** with laboratory and regulatory compliance experience: Bachelor’s degree in **Biochemistry**, Biochemical Engineering, or related field (degree and professional license preferred). * Courses or diplomas in: * Mexican sanitary regulations * Quality management systems * Good Laboratory Practices \- Work Experience * Minimum 2–3 years in a laboratory (food, supplements, or similar industry). * Demonstrable experience in: * Product development and analysis. * Quality control. * Process validation. \- Regulatory Knowledge (Mandatory)\- NOM\-051\-SCFI/SSA1\-2010 * Nutritional calculation. * Preparation and validation of labels. * Correct use of warning seals. * Nutritional and functional claims. \- Regulatory Knowledge (Mandatory)\- NOM\-125\-SSA1\-1994 * Good Laboratory Practices. * Document control. * Standardized operating procedures (SOPs). * Traceability and recordkeeping. \- Experience in Dietary Supplements (Mandatory) * Formulation of dietary supplements. * Review of permitted ingredients. * Preparation of technical specifications. * Sanitary registration management (knowledge of COFEPRIS requirements). \- Main Responsibilities * Ensure regulatory compliance of products. * Supervise laboratory operations. * Prepare and validate labels. * Conduct quality control of raw materials and finished products. * Manage sanitary audits. * Stay continuously updated on regulatory changes. \- Competencies * High level of organization. * Attention to detail and legal compliance. * Analytical ability. * Responsibility for sanitary safety. * Ability to work under pressure. \- Required Documentation: * Updated CV. * Copy of degree and professional license. * Employment certificates. * Evidence of prior work in labeling or NOM compliance. * Letters of recommendation.
