Job Summary: Workshop Coordinator responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance of fifth-wheel units to ensure availability and safety. Key Responsibilities: 1. Coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance of tractor-trailers 2. Supervision of technical staff and fault diagnosis 3. Work order management and coordination of roadside assistance *MAJOR LOGISTICS COMPANY SEEKING:* *WORKSHOP COORDINATOR (MAINTENANCE)* *Plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical workshop activities, ensuring proper preventive and corrective maintenance of 53" dry van fifth-wheel units, guaranteeing availability, safety, and reduction of downtime.* *\* Key Performance Indicators to Monitor:* * *Fleet availability* * *Average repair time* * *Preventive maintenance compliance* *\* Main Responsibilities:* *\* Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of tractor-trailers.* *\* Develop and control maintenance schedules based on mileage and time intervals.* *\* Supervise technical personnel (diesel mechanics, electricians, assistants).* *\* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in diesel engines.* *\* Manage work orders and track them to closure.* *\* Reduce repair times and ensure service quality.* *\* Coordinate roadside assistance as required.* *\* Ensure compliance with applicable regulations.* *\* Maintain maintenance logs per unit.* *\* Coordinate physical-mechanical inspections and compliance with SCT regulatory requirements.* *\* Competencies:* *\* Leadership* *\* Organization* *\* Working under pressure* *\* Results-oriented* *\* Problem-solving* *\* Effective communication* *\* Requirements:* *\- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM; Saturdays, 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM* *\- Availability to respond to calls and follow up on incidents outside regular working hours when operations require it.* Salary: $15,000.00 - $19,000.00 per month Benefits: * Free parking * Option for indefinite-term contract * Discounted cafeteria service * Company-provided mobile phone * Free uniforms Workplace: On-site employment
