




Job Summary: Responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and support to internal customers. Key Highlights: 1. Implementation of continuous improvement and safety systems. **Job Description** **General Objective:** Responsible for performing preventive and/or corrective maintenance on machines and equipment in buildings and warehouses. Responsible for executing assigned work orders, as well as providing support to internal customers for their various needs—within the technician’s and department’s capabilities (e.g., fixture creation, furniture, installations, etc.) **Responsibilities:** * Responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment including roofing systems, mini-splits, restrooms, hydraulic systems, compressors, dryers, parking areas, and other assigned systems; maintaining mechanical/electrical systems of machinery used in Manufacturing, Building, and other assigned areas in good working condition. * Document corrective work orders and summaries of preventive and predictive maintenance activities (if applicable) in electronic and/or written logbooks. * Use of manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, and diagrams; monthly updates of quality system training and reduction of equipment downtime. * Responsible for requesting parts and materials required to maintain machinery, equipment, and systems under his/her responsibility in good operating condition. * Follow established systems for inventory control and work order management. * Provide support for activities necessary to implement Medline’s improvement programs (e.g., Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, 5S, scheduled trainings). * Responsible for maintaining effective communication with all departments. * Responsible for complying with and adhering to company safety rules by using required personal protective equipment (PPE), devices, or clothing—or refraining from using prohibited items—as mandated by company health and safety regulations; immediately report to supervisor and/or EHS Department any absence or defect of PPE or safety clothing. * Maintain a clean and safe work area and inform supervisor of any hazards. * Responsible for implementing the LOTO system and achieving zero accidents. **Experience / Technical Knowledge:** * Basic Office software knowledge. * Basic knowledge of mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, and hydraulics. **Competencies / Soft Skills:** * Effective oral and written communication. * Organized. * Strong sense of urgency. * Teamwork. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. **Education:** * Completed or incomplete technical/vocational program or high school diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or related field focused on Industrial Maintenance is desirable.
