Job Summary: Responsible for leading staff to achieve daily production targets while ensuring quality and efficiency across all manufacturing areas. Key Highlights: 1. Leads teams to achieve production and quality objectives. 2. Ensures maximum effectiveness in manufacturing processes. 3. Manages continuous improvement projects and oversees personnel. ### **Description** Responsible for achieving daily production targets in accordance with the assigned work schedule and quality requirements, as well as leading subordinate personnel to achieve company objectives. This job description applies to all Manufacturing areas.### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures (both internal and regulatory) to minimize the potential for employee workplace injuries. * Develop and supervise an employee training program focused on productivity and resource conservation. * Evaluate each station in the manufacturing process to ensure maximum effectiveness. * Coordinate shift personnel activities (Team Leaders and Operators). * Ensure proper operation of assigned equipment and/or machinery, guaranteeing their maximum efficiency. * Responsible for following up on actions and/or escalations arising from performance reviews. * Responsible for monitoring and correcting any negative changes in all key metrics for the assigned area. * Assume responsibility for manufacturing and shipping processes at the plant. * Maintain open lines of communication between employees and all organizational levels. * Ensure all resources and assets are used effectively and appropriately. * Apply quality criteria. * Apply quality criteria to engineering-related aspects. * Comply with basic safety standards. * Apply knowledge of standards, goals, and objectives. * Manage continuous improvement projects: Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery. * Conduct time studies/balancing analyses and process capability studies. * Apply lean manufacturing knowledge. * Assertive communication. * Problem-solving methodologies (5 Whys, PDCA, 5W3L, QR). * Apply TPM (autonomous maintenance) knowledge. * Personnel management. * MES (Manufacturing Execution System) operation. * Decision-making. * Monitor adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices by subordinate personnel. * Conflict resolution. * Ability to analyze work-in-process inventory. * Ability to track pilot runs. * Ability to provide technical and operational resource support to other departments. * Collaborate as a team within your department and across the company. * Leadership in executing and managing your area. * Present weekly measurable results and potential improvements. * Manage subordinate personnel through the Tress system in the Supervisor module. * Follow instructions outlined in the Internal Work Regulations regarding safety and interpersonal relations among workers, as well as proper care of equipment, materials, facilities, and other company-owned resources. * Achieve daily production targets. * Meet quality targets. * Ability to achieve targets related to absenteeism, turnover, quality, efficiency, productivity, and 5S. * Monitor Aging Days reports (Mexico Reports) to ensure timely order movement. ### **Education, Skills and/or Experience Desired** * Completed undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. * Prior/proven experience as a Production and/or Manufacturing Supervisor. * Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing plants. * Strong organizational skills and leadership abilities required. * Advanced knowledge of problem-solving techniques. * Proficiency in MS\-Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Flexible availability. **Specific Language Requirements** Intermediate### **About Align Technology** **Your growth and well\-being:** At Align, every smile matters.
