**About the Position:**
KI Industries, Inc. is seeking a **Molding Process Engineer** for our facility located at El Marques Industrial Park. The role must ensure stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of plastic injection processes, guaranteeing product quality, compliance with automotive industry standards, and optimization of resources related to machines, molds, and materials.
**Responsibilities:*** Develop injection FMEA and update FMEA per IATF standard.
* Develop injection area flowcharts per IATF standard.
* Conduct root cause analysis using disciplined 8D methodology.
* Release new molds using SIM technology.
* Perform machine studies for qualification and rating of automotive or appliance machines.
* Develop top ten scrap statistical analyses to determine root causes of scrap.
* Implement SPC for automotive parts and injection molding machines.
* Conduct LPA audits and BOM reviews to identify process nonconformities and implement corrective actions.
**Education:*** Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline focused on manufacturing and molding processes.
* TSU in Manufacturing Processes and Plastics or equivalent.
* Intermediate to advanced English.
**Experience:*** 5 years of experience in plastic injection process roles, preferably in the automotive industry.
**Technical Skills:*** Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001-2015, VDA 6.3.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings; basic knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, electronics, engineering resins, tooling, and peripheral equipment.
* Programming experience with Wittman and Sepro robots (preferred).
* Master Molder and CQI-23 certifications preferred.
