Description
**General Objective:**
Perform repairs and services with quality, adhering to the repair instructions and procedures provided by VWM for dealership network personnel, both in diagnostic systems and in technical literature and technical bulletins.
**Education Level:**
Automotive Technical Program.
**Knowledge:**
Proficiency in manual and specialized workshop tools; occupational safety and hygiene measures; computer equipment operation; computer-based diagnostic tools.
**Experience:**
At least 1 year in a Mechanical Technician or Technical Assistant position.
Driver's License
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Install engine-area protectors (fender protector / front protector) at all times to ensure vehicle care and cleanliness.
* Perform assigned tasks according to instructions noted on the repair order, as assigned by the Service Advisor or Shop Supervisor, within the specified timeframe.
* Report difficulties encountered during task execution to the Shop Supervisor and Service Advisor.
* Code work positions according to ELSA or based on actual productive time averages.
* Record performed operations in maintenance logs or on the vehicle's travel card immediately after completion.
* Inform the Shop Supervisor and note on the repair order any additional defects discovered during repair, and simultaneously notify the Service Advisor.
* Store removed parts in sealed transparent bags and place them in the trunk—except for hazardous waste—for customer delivery.
* Maintain a clean and orderly workplace,
as well as personal appearance.
* Be responsible for always keeping tools in perfect condition, reporting damaged tools to the Shop Supervisor, and reporting any loss.
* Train and supervise assigned apprentices or technical assistants.
* Attend internal training school and stay updated on product changes.
* Receive new replacement parts from the Workshop Counter for use upon delivery of previously authorized material orders.
* Attend courses and training sessions convened by VWM for dealership network personnel, as well as internal courses provided by the dealership.
