This position will provide you the opportunity to learn about quality systems and material sourcing for the Operations department and apply them in a highly interesting business area that offers access to mentoring, training, and development opportunities in the Quality field. **On a typical day as a Materials Analyst, you will:** * Record remo/amt requests generated by the Operations area. * Log into the database the reason for requesting the material. * File claims with factories for defective, damaged, or undelivered materials still under warranty. * Follow up with factories regarding material delivery. * Receive and inspect spare parts, components, equipment, and other requirements—both domestic and imported—that arrive at the Service Center, verifying compliance with the company’s established specifications. * Identify and/or label materials to facilitate handling. * Deliver materials to the requesting Supervisor. * Report quality-related findings to factories. * Prepare and report all quality statistics and indicators for requested remo/amt items to the Quality department. **What You’ll Need to Succeed!** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or related field. Minimum: Internship completed.
