Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Role Definition:** Supports the analysis of manufacturing processes to improve production, quality, cost, and safety. Identifies and resolves failures, participates in equipment and process improvements, trains personnel, and provides engineering support for operations and maintenance. **Responsibilities:** * Analyze and follow drawings/blueprints to ensure product and customer specifications. * Support the manufacturing operations team in modifying tools/equipment for continuous improvement. * Ensure proper use of tools/materials to guarantee their correct application. * Apply and explain drawing specifications to manufacturing operations and ensure correct procedures for compliance. * Support risk, benefit, and alternative evaluations. * Develop new manufacturing technologies within the production process. * Be responsible for appropriate documentation for current production and NSI/NPI products (PPAP, APQP, etc.). * Inspect the workplace to identify safety risks/violations and determine corrective actions. * Explain tools, techniques, and documents used for process monitoring and control. * Be responsible for collecting data such as safety findings, quality issues, daily production, and root cause analysis. **Education Requirements:** * Technical degree or currently pursuing a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or related field. **Required Skills:** **Decision-Making and Critical Thinking:** * Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools; ability to accurately analyze situations and make productive decisions based on informed judgment. * Values of integrity, excellence, effective communication, strong commitment, teamwork, and high level of service. **Accuracy and Attention to Detail** * Advises on advanced data analysis methodologies and technologies to enable more informed decisions. * Trains others to improve the validity and reliability of data used across various decision-making processes. * Designs KPIs and metrics to analyze data and influence decisions. * Evaluates opportunities and challenges related to integrating data into decisions. * Oversees data collection and analysis activities within the organization. * Seeks input from multiple sources to generate diverse ideas in decision-making. **Problem Solving** * Identifies problems systematically, analyzes root causes, and implements effective and sustainable solutions to improve processes and outcomes. **Effective Communication** * Communicates information and expectations clearly, concisely, and effectively, ensuring proper understanding across teams, levels, and functional areas. **Ideal Candidates Will Have:** * 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing processes. * Basic-to-intermediate English proficiency. * Continuous improvement methodologies: Lean, PDCA, 8D, SWOT, Pareto chart, Ishikawa diagram. * Blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). * Familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD, and visualization software. * Data analysis applied to manufacturing. **Position Details:** * This position is located in Santa Catarina, N.L. * Willingness to rotate shifts. * Relocation assistance is not provided. **Final Details** Please frequently check the email associated with your application, including your spam/junk folder, as this is our primary method of correspondence.
