Requirements * Required academic level: High school or vocational training * Experience: 1–2 years as a WINE STEWARD * Knowledge(s) and tool(s): + In-depth knowledge of major wine-producing regions, their appellations of origin, characteristic styles, and prominent producers. + Understanding of the entire wine production process, from grape cultivation + Familiarity with service standards and etiquette in fine dining to deliver an impeccable experience. * Language(s): + English – Advanced – None + English – Advanced – None * Skill(s) and competency(ies): + Results-oriented + Customer-oriented * Candidate availability: + No travel required Schedule Some days Full-time 08:00–17:00 Schedule clarification: DURING INTERVIEW Functions and activities * Manages all aspects of the wine cellar, including inventory control and proper bottle storage. * Is an expert in pairing wines with foods, creating harmonies that enhance the flavors of both the beverage and the food. * Selects the wines to be included on the establishment’s wine list. * This is one of their most important responsibilities. They must guide customers in selecting the perfect wine, considering their personal preferences, the dish or menu chosen, their budget, and the occasion.
