With a 3\.6 GW generation pipeline across Latin America, Spain, and Africa, Cox focuses on renewable energy projects such as photovoltaic, concentrated solar thermal, and biofuels. **Location: Mexico City** **Main Function:** Prepare competitive technical-economic proposals for battery energy storage systems (BESS) and solar photovoltaic generation projects under Distributed Generation and Self-Consumption schemes (“Behind the Meter” configuration) for Commercial and Industrial (C&I) clients, ensuring technical and regulatory viability of each project. **Responsibilities:** **Technical Proposal Development:** * Design BESS and photovoltaic systems (PV) tailored to industrial load profiles. * Sizing of: * BESS systems (energy capacity, power rating, cycle life, dispatch strategy). * PV systems (kWp, preliminary layout, inverters, mounting structure). * Preparation of single-line diagrams, layouts, technical reports, and basic specifications. **Technical-Economic Analysis:** * Conduct technical site surveys at client facilities. * Evaluate strategies for: * Peak shaving and load shifting. * Backup power supply. * Energy generation modeling. * Integration of costs (CAPEX/OPEX, investment schedule). * Ensure compliance of solutions with applicable regulations. **Commercial Support:** * Understand client needs and translate them into technically viable solutions. * Support the commercial team in technical meetings and presentations. **Supplier Management:** * In coordination with the procurement department: * Request and evaluate quotations for equipment and services. * Compare technologies, manufacturers, and specialists. * Supplier prospecting and optimization. * Coordinate supplier technical visits to client facilities. **Optimization and Standardization:** * Support development of internal tools (calculators, tracking files, etc.). * Drafting of technical specifications. * Creation and improvement of proposal templates and design criteria. * Continuous improvement of estimation and design processes. **Coordination with Operations Department:** * Timely identification of risks and development of mitigation proposals. * Handover of the project to the execution team. * Support the Project Manager as required. **Academic Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering or related field. **Technical Competencies:** **BESS** * Sizing, applications, and technologies. * EMS operation. * Cost integration. **Photovoltaic Systems** * Design and simulation (PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, etc.). * Sizing, applications, and technologies. * Cost integration. **Preparation of Basic Technical Drawings and Reports** * Layouts, single-line diagrams. * Knowledge of NOM, DACG, Grid Code, IEC, UL, etc. **Experience / Additional Requirements:** At least 5 years preparing technical proposals for behind-the-meter projects in the C\&I sector, including at least 2 years focused on BESS. **\*\*To participate in this process, it is mandatory to ATTACH YOUR CV when submitting your application.** **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Principle:** At Cox, we foster a **diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment grounded in respect for the dignity of all individuals, equal opportunity, and non-discrimination.** Selection is based exclusively on knowledge, skills, merit, competencies, and capability—considering only those who meet the required profile—and guarantees equality, non-discrimination, and fair treatment throughout the entire process.
