Job Description and Activity Details **Primary Function of Position:** Achieve, together with a functional team, performance goals for the Production Line. The goals will include Safety Incidents, Absenteeism, Turnover, PL, DN, NCR, Scrap, Production Plan, Efficiency, Hour Accuracy, and Downtime. **Roles & Responsibilities:** * Lead or support Lean Manufacturing Initiatives (A3/Kaizen/GB/PM). * Work closely with all support departments to resolve daily production issues. * Train, develop, and enforce adherence to applicable DOPs and SOPs of the Quality System and Manufacturing. * Conduct interviews, hire and train employees; plan, assign, and manage workloads to monitor their development plans (TAP); reward and discipline employees; manage conflicts. * Plan, supervise, drive improvement, and report production performance (Output/Yield/RCA/Efficiency). * Onboard new employees and track their onboarding requirements. * Deploy and sustain IPS Initiatives (Standard Work/Tiers/VSM/6S/CI Program/RCA). * Motivate employees, provide expectations and feedback quarterly and during stand-ups. * Address line support issues; document, report, and escalate any problems or concerns. * Learn and enforce company safety policies and practices, QA Audits, Safety Projects, and 8D. * Review Manufacturing Process Instructions to ensure MPI accuracy or propose improvements. * Conduct Annual Performance Reviews and One-on-One meetings. * Review and disposition nonconforming material, improve material usage, and implement corrective actions. * Drive our culture strategy by fostering our mission, principles, leadership expectations, and creating an engagement survey action plan. * Work closely with Corporate Engineering on production line transfers or improvements as required. * Support corporate Quality improvement CAPA implementations and lead QA improvements. * Assist Engineering with FMR. * Ensure completion of ISU Training for oneself and employees. * Support process validation. Experience and Requirements **Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:** * External Candidate: Minimum 3 years of experience as a supervisor or in engineering. * Internal Candidate: Minimum 1 year in the Internal Development Program. * Bachelor’s degree in fields related to engineering or manufacturing — official proof of studies (degree, certificate, or graduation letter) is required. * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to read, write, and understand intermediate English. * Basic knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes. * Proficient in the use of personal computers; familiar with Microsoft Office, MRP, SAP, and Agile (preferred).
