Job functions or activities. Supervise staff in weighing, sorting, routing, and affixing routing labels to each shipment. Supervise that necessary equipment and tools for daily operations are available. Supervise, control, and direct the operational staff under supervision. Develop training and development programs for staff under supervision. Determine pre-alerts issued to branches, indicating the volume of cargo arriving at each location. Prepare and deliver return indicators to the Shipment Control department. Implement contingency plans. Requirements Logistics: 4 years. Transportation experience in courier and parcel delivery companies. Experience managing operational and unionized personnel.
