Object-oriented programming: design and implementation of well-structured classes—not just scripting. Functional knowledge of ML libraries (Scikit\-Learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow, PyTorch) focused on model packaging and deployment. Advanced handling of tabular data using Polars; distributed processing with PySpark. Advanced SQL and data management within Hadoop/Hive ecosystems. Data connectivity from Python: SQLAlchemy, ODBC/JDBC. MLOps and infrastructure Experience building and operating automated ML pipelines: training, validation, and deployment. Proficiency with MLflow or an equivalent tool for experiment tracking and model registry. Data and model version control using DVC or an equivalent tool. Cloud platforms: GCP (Vertex AI, GCS, Artifact Registry) and Azure (Azure ML, Blob Storage, ACR). Experience implementing CI/CD for machine learning projects. Experience monitoring models in production: degradation detection, alerting, and response. Orchestration with Apache Airflow: DAG design, operators, dependency management, and alerting. **Desirable** Discipline in development. Professional use of Git. Experience writing automated tests (Pytest) for data pipelines and transformations.
