Maintenance Operator

Description

Job Summary: Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel facilities, including electrical and plumbing repairs, furniture maintenance, and addressing guest requests. Key Highlights: 1. Performs corrective maintenance in rooms and common areas. 2. Executes preventive maintenance programs on key equipment. 3. Responds to urgent guest requests and supports operations. • Corrective Maintenance • Address failure reports in rooms, public areas, kitchen, laundry, parking, and offices. • Repair electrical systems: lamps, outlets, switches, panels, minor faults. • Resolve leaks, blockages, pressure failures, and plumbing repairs. • Repair furniture (minor carpentry), doors, locks, hardware, and glazing. B. Preventive Maintenance • Carry out preventive maintenance schedules (PMS) for: • Rooms • Air conditioning units • Laundry equipment • Boilers, pumps, and motors • Ventilation systems • Kitchen and refrigeration equipment • Record each activity as part of the hotel’s maintenance history. C. Guest Service and Operational Support • Respond immediately to urgent guest requests related to technical failures. • Support Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Security during priority incidents (power outages, leaks, card lockouts, electrical equipment issues). • Maintain a service-oriented attitude, clear communication, and respectful conduct. D. Special Facility Maintenance • Depending on the hotel, may include: • Inspection of swimming pools, jacuzzis, saunas, or spas. • Garden and irrigation system maintenance. • Elevator inspection (in coordination with authorized vendor). E. Safety and Compliance • Comply with industrial safety standards, tool handling, electricity, gas, and special equipment operation. • Report structural risks or anomalies. • Apply Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) protocols when required. -Requirements- Minimum education: Upper secondary education – Technical High School Diploma 2 years of experience Age: between 25 and 45 years Knowledge: Corrective maintenance, Preventive maintenance, Repairs Keywords: operator, operario, operator, maintenance, conservacion, conservation, mantenimiento
