Description

Performs cleaning services for assigned rooms in accordance with established procedures and standards for cleaning, setup, presentation, supplies, and amenity provisioning for each room type, to provide guests of the hotel with a comfortable and well-being environment. * After clocking in at the security booth, reports promptly and properly uniformed to the Housekeeping Office to register attendance and receive instructions from the Supervisor, as well as the room and linen reports, keys, and electronic key cards assigned; signs the corresponding logbook. * Reports missing items in rooms, as well as hotel property stolen by guests or misused, to the Supervisor. Delivers all guest- forgotten items found in rooms to the Floor Supervisor and/or Housekeeping Coordinators for proper registration in Lost and Found. * Physically inspects each assigned room, recording its status and relevant data on the report, and submits it immediately to the Supervisor. Monitors rooms displaying "Do Not Disturb" signs and those with double locks for subsequent cleaning and restocking. * Performs cleaning in assigned rooms within the section, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards for cleaning, setup, presentation, supplies, and amenity provisioning for each room type. * Prioritizes cleaning of rooms assigned to VIPs, Special Requests, and same-day departures. Attends to guest requests for extra supplies and amenities, and specific cleaning times, within the limits of workload capacity. * Is responsible for safeguarding room keys and electronic key cards under their custody and uses them strictly in accordance with established policies and procedures to protect guest and hotel property. Reports any irregularities observed in rooms or hotel facilities to the Supervisor of their section. * Receives specific task instructions from the Supervisor of their section and executes them in accordance with required standards. * Immediately reports vacant and cleaned rooms to the Supervisor for inspection and system entry for rental availability. * Immediately notifies the Supervisor of their section of any defects, deterioration, or damage in rooms so that the Engineering Department can issue the appropriate repair work order. * Ensures that the housekeeping cart is fully stocked with linens, cleaning supplies, guest supplies, and amenities required to perform duties, using them efficiently. * Maintains the work team’s equipment organized and clean; at the end of the shift, cleans and organizes the floor linen room and housekeeping cart. * At the end of the shift, delivers the report, room and linen keys, and electronic key cards to the Supervisor, using the corresponding logbook. * Reports for duty punctually and complies with hotel-established policies and procedures regarding discipline, personal appearance and hygiene, working hours, designated traffic areas, and safety regulations. * Attends departmental meetings and continuously participates in position-specific training programs. * Executes all instructions and tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor, as well as all responsibilities inherent to the position.
