Description

Performs cleaning services for assigned guest rooms in accordance with established procedures and standards for cleaning, setup, presentation, supplies, and amenity provisioning for each room type, to provide guests with a comfortable and well-being environment. * After clocking in at the security booth, reports promptly and properly uniformed to the Housekeeping Office to register attendance, receive instructions from the Supervisor, and obtain the report, room keys, and electronic key cards for assigned rooms and linen closets, signing the corresponding logbook. * Reports missing items in guest rooms, as well as hotel property stolen by guests or misused by them, to the Supervisor. Delivers all items or objects left behind by guests in rooms to the Floor Supervisor and/or Housekeeping Coordinators for proper registration in Lost and Found. * Physically inspects each assigned room, noting its status and relevant data on the report form, and submits it immediately to the Supervisor. Monitors rooms displaying the "Do Not Disturb" sign and those with double locks for subsequent cleaning and restocking. * Performs cleaning in assigned rooms within their section, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards for cleaning, setup, presentation, supplies, and amenity provisioning for each room type. * Prioritizes cleaning of rooms assigned to VIPs, Special Requests, and same-day departures. Responds to guest requests for extra supplies and amenities, and preferred cleaning times, within the limits of workload capacity. * Is responsible for safeguarding room keys and electronic key cards under their custody, using them strictly in accordance with established policies and procedures to protect guest and hotel property. Reports any irregularities observed in guest rooms or hotel facilities to the Supervisor of their section. * Receives specific task instructions from the Supervisor of their section and executes them according to required standards. * Immediately reports vacant and cleaned rooms to the Supervisor for inspection and system entry for rental availability. * Immediately notifies the Supervisor of their section of defects, deterioration, or damage in guest rooms so that the Engineering Department can issue the appropriate repair work order. * Ensures their housekeeping cart is fully stocked with linens, cleaning supplies, guest supplies, and amenities to perform duties effectively and responsibly. * Maintains work equipment clean and organized; at the end of shift, cleans and organizes the floor linen closet and housekeeping cart. * At the end of shift, returns the report, room keys, electronic key cards, and linen closet keys to the Supervisor, using the corresponding logbook. * Reports to duty punctually and complies with hotel-established policies and procedures regarding discipline, personal appearance and hygiene, working hours, designated traffic areas, and safety regulations. * Attends departmental meetings and continuously participates in scheduled training for their position. * Executes all instructions and assignments given by their immediate supervisor, as well as all responsibilities inherent to the position.
