




Position Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Certification Specialist Engineer to analyze purchase orders, generate labels and instructions, manage certifications, and maintain the update of technical documents. SPECIALIST POSITION IN CERTIFICATION. Education: Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Control Engineering, or related fields. Knowledge: Electrical–Electronic Safety Regulations NOM-003-SCFI and NOM-001-SCFI; Quality Management Systems MX-EC-17025-IMNC-2018; knowledge of Product Certification Bodies and Testing Laboratories, EMA and accreditations, tariff classifications; instrumentation and electrical diagrams. Skills: Positive attitude, flexibility, communication, emotional intelligence, critical thinking. Responsibilities: · Conduct detailed analysis of new purchase orders; verify alignment between supplier code or model number and technical specifications—particularly electrical characteristics, family grouping, materials, lighting type, light source, and size—and ensure correct data loading into TLS. · Generate labels and instructions compliant with current NOM regulations and their specific requirements, using corresponding data from each technical specification sheet and installation manual. · Verify presence of models in current certificates; if absent, group them and prepare the corresponding matrix for extension. · Submit required documents (specification matrix, labeling, instructions, declarations of differences) to the Product Certification Body via its digital platform for model/make/country-of-origin extensions and/or reductions. · Break down costs and request payment validation from management for each procedure based on the budget. · Keep TLS updated with certificate numbers, validity periods, and coordinates per model. · Coordinate with the Product Certification Body (PCB) for recertification, follow-up visits, and timely submission of reports within agreed validity periods. · Review available stock and request authorization for samples subject to follow-up visits and subsequent shipment to testing laboratories. · Consult with customs agents regarding tariff classifications and applicable regulations for diverse products not covered by existing certificates. · Quote laboratory testing and PCB processes (extensions, reductions, customs letters, recertification/opening). · Prepare annual budget with cost estimates for current and new certifications.
