Professional training and career growth. **EON is hiring a Data Scientist in Benito Juárez, Mexico City** -------------------------------------------------------------------- **Data Scientist** We are looking for a Data Scientist passionate about advanced analytics, Machine Learning, and technological innovation to participate in the development, training, and monitoring of high-impact analytical models for the business. This role will collaborate on strategic projects focused on DataOps and MLOps, working with large volumes of data and cloud platforms to implement data-driven solutions. **Responsibilities** * Develop Machine Learning models—from data identification and preparation through validation and monitoring. * Conduct exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, and data processing. * Execute model training, experimentation, and evaluation of predictive models. * Implement performance validations such as cross-validation and backtesting. * Monitor model performance, data drift, and business metrics. * Collaborate with MLOps and Engineering teams to deploy models into production. * Generate clear and reusable technical documentation. * Participate in migrating models to cloud-based analytical platforms (GCP/AWS). **Requirements** * Completed bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related fields. * Experience developing Machine Learning models. * Advanced proficiency in Python for ML applications. * Intermediate-level SQL skills. * Basic knowledge of Git. * Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery) or AWS (SageMaker). * Knowledge in: * + Classification, regression, and clustering models. + Statistics and probability. + Jupyter Notebooks. + Version control and reproducibility. + Preparing models for production environments. Desirable: Knowledge of MLOps; diplomas or certifications in Data Science, AI, or Machine Learning.
