Job Summary: Data Engineer responsible for managing the technological infrastructure for efficient data extraction, transformation, loading, and storage, ensuring data quality and availability. Job Objective Establish and manage the technological infrastructure required for efficient data extraction, transformation, loading, and storage, ensuring data quality and availability. This enables the organization to obtain relevant and timely information to support informed and strategic decision-making. Additionally, the Data Engineer closely collaborates with various teams—from analysts to developers and data scientists—ensuring data flows are consistent, reliable, and secure. He/she formulates information queries across different data platforms, applying expertise in SQL and Python programming. Main Responsibilities **Operate and maintain data warehouses:** Create and manage databases and data warehouses optimized for access and performance.\* Data collection and transformation: Identify data sources, extract and transform data for storage and analysis.\* Data pipeline development: Design automated workflows to efficiently move, transform, and process data.\* CH data integration and cleansing: Integrate data from diverse sources and ensure its quality through cleansing and transformation processes.\* Performance optimization: Ensure data queries and loading processes are efficient and high-performing.\* Security implementation: Apply security measures, encryption, and authentication to protect data.\* Collaboration with other teams: Work with analysts, data scientists, and other professionals to understand their data needs and deliver appropriate solutions.\* Technical issue resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues in data flows and storage systems.\* Data governance maintenance: Maintain control and follow procedures for the automated dissemination of information from the data factory. Candidate Profile Knowledge of information systems and technology; experience participating in Business Intelligence technology implementation projects for Human Capital, as a consultant and/or client.\* Experience designing and developing data models that support analysis and decision-making.\* Experience with leading Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, among others.\* Human Capital processes.
