Job Summary: We are seeking a CONTROLLER with strong analytical capability, strategic vision, and management skills to oversee corporate finance and ensure economic objectives are met within the tourism industry. Proven leadership and experience in similar positions A leading company in the tourism industry seeks a CONTROLLER with strong analytical capability, strategic vision, and management skills, responsible for overseeing corporate finances, guiding decision-making, and ensuring achievement of economic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Supervise accounting and budgeting processes. Prepare and supervise financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Cost/expense reduction. Administrative management. Fleet vehicle control. Supervision and management of the procurement department. Responsible for managing multiple businesses within the group across various destinations. Negotiate with travel agencies and establish agreements. Implement quality controls and procedural manuals. Manage department personnel. Prepare various reports. Reports directly to the Finance Director. · Other Requirements: Leadership and proven experience in similar corporate roles and intercompany activities. Ability to work with data and key performance indicators. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with specialization in taxation and/or fiscal matters and/or Finance. Personnel management experience (department heads). Mandatory experience in the tourism industry (DMCs, travel agencies, hotels, transportation companies, luxury service providers). Up-to-date on tax compliance. Financial Statements. Tax Determination. Government procedures. · Knowledge: General Accounting. Administrative Management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Contadigital, Contpaq. SAT platforms and/or portals, government agencies. · Skills: Leadership. Teamwork. Effective Communication. Personnel Management. Negotiation. · Accounting Department Oversight: General Accounting. Treasury. Budgeting. Accounting Processes. Suppliers. Tax Strategies. Taxes.
