An environment that prioritizes technical innovation **Can you translate complex designs into perfect physical realities?** At our design firm, we don’t just cut panels—we manufacture hybrid engineering components (wood, aluminum, acrylic). We seek a **CNC Programmer** who serves as the "Process Brain": an expert in digitizing precision to eliminate human error on the shop floor. 1\. Software Proficiency (The Process Brain) We seek an advanced technical profile mastering the full digital workflow: * **AutoCAD & Revit:** Ability to dissect architectural drawings and extract technical cut lists. * **Fusion 360 (CAD/CAM):** Full mastery to program cutting strategies, toolpaths, tool compensation, and optimized entry/exit points. * **Autodesk Maya:** Skill in manipulating complex surfaces and 3D meshes—ideal for organic-shaped furniture or artistic reliefs. 2\. Layout Engineering and Analysis Your work begins on screen to ensure success on the machine: * **Assembly Modeling:** Ability to digitally "assemble" furniture before cutting to avoid material waste. * **Tolerance Tuning (Offsets):** Program with surgical precision so aluminum fits perfectly with rolled MDF and other hybrid materials. Shop Floor Alignment and Results Within our value chain, you are the **Error Filter**: * **Communication with Design:** Evaluate the technical feasibility of 3D models and propose adjustments to ensure smooth, aesthetically pleasing assembly. * **Production Alignment:** Program part labeling or numbering directly from the CNC so the finishing department maintains grain order and logical assembly flow. * **Optimization (Nesting):** Ability to perform rapid, efficient part nesting—maximizing material utilization and reducing machine runtime under pressure. * Candidate Requirements * Solid experience programming and operating 3-axis (or higher) CNC routers.
