Workana is supporting the search for an Analytics Engineer for a fintech company undergoing regional expansion. This role targets professionals with strong expertise in data modeling, advanced SQL, and Power BI, interested in transforming operational data into scalable and governed analytical structures. The position offers the opportunity to actively participate in strategic decisions related to risk, product, portfolio, and commercial areas within a high-volume transactional environment. **Requirements:** * Degree in Engineering, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields. * 3+ years of experience in similar roles. * Advanced proficiency in SQL and dimensional modeling. * Solid experience with Power BI (advanced level). * Python desirable (automations, ETL, validations). * Experience in fintech or high-volume transactional environments. * Knowledge of data governance (lineage, quality, metadata, ownership). **Main Responsibilities:** * Design, build, and maintain data marts by product, portfolio, and channel. * Implement data models using Kimball and/or Data Vault methodologies, ensuring traceability and consistency. * Develop advanced dashboards in Power BI, optimized for performance and focused on storytelling. * Define and implement KPI Governance (sources, calculations, quality rules). * Configure automated alerts for early detection of anomalies (fraud, DPD, user behavior, operational failures). * Ensure data integrity and availability in collaboration with BI, Technology, Risk, and Product teams. * Conduct root cause analysis for deviations or critical events. * Collaborate with Data Engineering and MLOps teams to ensure model interoperability. **Benefits:** * Work modality: On-site for the first 3 months (CDMX) + hybrid scheme. * Schedule: Full-time. * Employment type: Direct hire. * Salary: up to USD 3.500 (depending on seniority). * Location: Mexico City. **Hiring Process:** * Interview with Hiring Manager. * Technical challenge. * Offer.
