Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced specialty coffee barista to join a café bar featuring a classic and signature coffee menu, diverse brewing methods, and domestic and international coffee beans. Opportunity to join a dynamic team We have been operating for over one year as a specialty coffee bar (serving food and adhering to kosher protocols), offering a classic coffee menu, brewing methods including V60, Chemex, and Kalita, signature beverages, and a varied selection of both domestic and international coffee beans. You will also assist with routine tasks, customer service, dishwashing, serving, and inventory support. We offer two shifts and a special work schedule: five days per week at 6.5 hours each, plus one day per week at 12 hours. Shifts and schedules are naturally rotated but negotiable. At this location, the morning shift starts at 8:30 AM and ends at 2:30 PM; operations begin at 9\. The afternoon shift starts at 2:15 PM and ends at 9\. There are two primary commuting routes: either arrive via Polanco and walk to Auditorio (until the station reopens), then take a bus that drops you a few meters from the café; or board the bus at the Chapultepec stop. In both cases, the bus must display "Av.Palmas". Monthly tips typically average around 2,000 MXN, though this may vary significantly. Pay is biweekly—paid every other Tuesday. There are two probationary periods: the first lasts from 2 to 6 days, during which salary is paid at 50%; upon completion, employment is formalized.
