Join our SIG team as… **QUALITY TECHNICIAN** Provide technical support in production processes as well as in supporting areas, using quality tools, complying with all regulations, internal and external procedures, and adhering to SIG Combibloc’s general and human resources policies. **Responsibilities** * Support all stages of production by applying quality tools and specific procedures to guarantee product and process specifications at each stage. * Train and educate production area employees and new Quality department employees on testing methods and criteria using available procedures and other materials, aiming for correct execution of activities. * Implement physical and system (MES/SAP) holds on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products by tracing the start and end of defects, with the objective of preventing non-conforming products from being shipped to customers. * Conduct quality tests on products and processes, including incoming raw material inspections and product performance evaluations, using available procedures and equipment to assess process/product characteristics and parameters against obtained results. * Evaluate results obtained from quality tests and request corrections and adjustments based on procedures and specifications, aiming to produce items within specification limits. * Evaluate non-conforming materials by classifying defect type, severity, and other characteristics, for proper disposition—e.g., scrap, special release, or rework. * Conduct quality system audits in accordance with BRC, ISO, and FDA standard requirements. Also responsible for auditing functional area quality tasks, procedures, and processes based on procedures and standardized work, ensuring correct task execution for quality assurance. * Act proactively and sustainably to understand environmental impacts arising from operations and minimize them, while committing to the company’s environmental policy to ensure compliance with SIG Combibloc standards. * Comply with and implement Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards to ensure safe packaging production for customers and consumers, and correctly execute all quality procedures under one’s responsibility to ensure compliance with SIG Combibloc standards. **Requirements** * 2\-3 years of experience in this role * Completed technical education.
