Our optical communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware, and equipment into an industry-leading, full-service provider of optical solutions, serving the broader communications industry. This segment is divided into two main product groups: carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group primarily includes products and solutions for fiber optic communication infrastructure supporting services such as video, data, and voice communications. The enterprise network product group primarily includes fiber optic communication networks targeted at businesses, governments, and individuals for their own use. **Role purpose** ---------------- Performs accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements. **Key responsibilities** ------------------------ * Prepare pre payroll activities for union, non\-union and intern employees. * Calculate payroll for union, non\-union and intern employees. * Disburse different payroll payments to the employee bank account. * Calculate special requirements (terminations or others by HR, Legal or Employee Relations). * Ensure proper timely posting in finance of all the payroll documents. * Administrate Saving Fund account. * Administrate Alimony payments. * Administrate and support appropriately all the related with INFONAVIT, FONACOT or other institutions that may input in payroll. * Annual Off\-cycles (Christmas bonus, saving fund, PIP, Goal Sharing). * Calculate, request payment and register in finance the state tax. * Reconciliation of payroll accounts (annual and monthly). * Social Security Audit. * Customer service, payroll inquires. * Stay updated in legislative changes. * Support payroll system upgrades, participate in testing phase and deliverables. **Experience/Education \- Required** ------------------------------------ * Bachelor's Degree * 2 years of experience in similar roles * Fluent in English **Experience/Education \- Desired** ----------------------------------- * TRESS Payroll system expertise * Master's Degree * INFONAVIT and FONACOT knowledge A job that transforms lives.
