Position Summary: We are seeking a Laboratory Manager with experience in quality control, analytical method development, and team management to ensure regulatory compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Lead product, raw material analysis and development of new methods. 2. Implementation of new testing methods and equipment calibration. 3. Coordination with Production and Warehouse for material release. JOB DESCRIPTION GENERAL INFORMATION Position Title: Laboratory Manager Division: Laboratory Location: Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico Reports To: Supply Chain Manager Department: Supply Chain Date: March 17, 2026 POSITION SCOPE Direct Reports: 0 Financial Responsibility: 0 Scope: Local KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Analysis of intermediate products, raw materials, finished products, and new materials. Issuance and control of quality certificates. Creation, updating, and control of laboratory methods and procedures. Development of methods for physical foam testing in: Instron-type universal testing machine Cannon foaming machine Support to Technical Service team in manual testing and sample analysis. Implementation of new testing methods (specific gravity, viscosity, total bases, aging, OH determination). Tracking of laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration. KEY REQUIREMENTS Education Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or related field Experience 1–3 years in a laboratory operating under ISO 9001:2015 Knowledge of ISO 17025 and IATF 16949 Knowledge Formulation of polyurethane foam systems Isocyanates Operation of high-pressure foaming machines Computer Skills Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint (intermediate level, pivot tables) SAP Languages Intermediate–Advanced English (meetings and communication) KEY COMPETENCIES Quality processes Six Sigma methodologies Analytical and statistical methods Laboratory equipment operation: Karl Fischer titrator Analytical balance Mixers Viscometers (Brookfield) ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS Sample and consumables control and tracking Coordination with Production and Warehouse for material release Management of sample storage areas Vacation, training, and team development administration Ensuring compliance with standards (ISO 9001:2015, SHE, etc.) TOOLS / EQUIPMENT Instron-type universal testing machine Foaming equipment Forklift (valid license required) PERSONAL COMPETENCIES Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) Problem solving Conflict management Sense of urgency Working under pressure Business and customer orientation Leadership and assertive communication. -Requirements- Minimum education: Higher education – Bachelor's degree years of experience Keywords: leader, manager, director, chief, lead, head, supervisor, laboratory, lab technician
