Job Summary: A major insurance company is seeking a Junior Remote Appraiser to ensure vehicle appraisals, analyze parts replacements, and utilize parts quotation tools. Key Highlights: 1. Guarantee vehicle appraisals within 48 hours 2. Conduct high-quality appraisals and detect potential fraud 3. Use parts quotation tools and manage parts auctions IMPORTANT: INSURANCE COMPANY IS CURRENTLY HIRING HDI SEGUROS: JUNIOR REMOTE APPRAISER REQUIREMENTS: Completed high school diploma and/or incomplete engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial) Desirable experience in automotive, Service Advisor, or Operations roles; Agency/Workshop Manager. Desirable knowledge and proficiency with commonly used appraisal tools in the market. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that appraisals for insured vehicles and third-party vehicles are completed within the first 48 hours. Perform high-quality appraisals, authorizing only what is necessary for repair and/or indemnification of the insured vehicle. Analyze in detail the authorization of requested parts replacements, validate origin, and even detect potential fraud. Correctly use the company’s parts quotation tools, uploading authorized replacement parts to auction immediately after completing the appraisal. Meet the daily workload automatically assigned via the Efile carousel.
