Hard Skills (Technical) Modern Java: Proficiency in Java 17 or 21 (Records, Sealed Classes, Virtual Threads). Spring Ecosystem: Spring Boot 3, Spring Security (OAuth2/JWT), and Spring Data. Messaging: Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication. Persistence: Advanced SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and caching strategies with Redis. Containers: Docker (image creation and optimization) and basic Kubernetes concepts. Testing: JUnit 5, Mockito, and Testcontainers. Soft Skills (Attitude) Critical Thinking: Not being afraid to question an architecture if you believe a more efficient or simpler approach exists. Clear Communication: Ability to explain technical decisions to non-IT stakeholders. Self-Management: In tech projects, we prefer someone who raises their hand when blocked over someone who disappears for three days. Curiosity: Staying up-to-date with new developments in the community (e.g., Spring updates, new libraries, etc.). Desired Education and Courses Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical training (high-performance bootcamps also accepted if backed by solid experience). Certifications (Optional but beneficial): Oracle Certified Professional (Java), Spring Certified Professional, or cloud certifications (AWS/Azure Developer). Specialized Courses: Specific training in Microservices Architecture, Design Patterns (SOLID/GoF), or Clean Code.
