




Job Summary: Control and record inventories of food products, ensuring rotation, preservation, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Position: Inventory Assistant (Food) Department: Warehouse / Logistics / Operations Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor / Inventory Manager Job Objective: To accurately control and record food product inventories, ensuring appropriate rotation, preservation, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Main Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and register food items and supplies. Verify expiration dates, physical condition, and quality of products. Apply the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method. Track incoming and outgoing goods in system or logbooks. Conduct physical inventories (daily, cyclical, and monthly). Identify shortages, expired items, or spoiled products and report them. Ensure proper storage (temperature, cleanliness, organization). Label products according to sanitary regulations. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and hygienic conditions. Support internal and external audits (sanitary or quality-related). Requirements: Education: Completed high school diploma (technical degree in food science or related field preferred). Experience: 6 months to 1 year in food warehouse, industrial kitchen, or logistics.
