Position Summary: Ensure accurate recording, control, and invoicing of imported goods to maintain healthy inventory levels and regulatory compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Inventory Analyst Position Objective Ensure accurate recording, control, and invoicing of imported goods arriving via direct supplier deliveries, maintaining healthy inventory levels, meeting operational KPIs, and correctly applying legal and customs requirements. Required Profile Education Bachelor’s degree in International Trade and Customs, International Business, International Commerce, or related field (completed or in progress). Experience Minimum 6 months of experience in imports. Desirable experience in importing companies, trading firms, logistics providers, or customs agencies. Prior experience as a document reviewer or import documentation specialist. Technical Knowledge FIFO (First In, First Out) method. Import processes and customs documentation. Import regulations and permits. Calculation of surcharges. Proficiency in GSuite and Microsoft Office tools. Basic English (A2 level). Key Responsibilities Record and invoice goods in the system according to the specific characteristics of each shipment, ensuring adherence to established timelines. Ensure accurate declaration of goods for import purposes before the relevant authority. Identify goods subject to special regulations, royalties, or other requirements, ensuring their proper entry in accordance with applicable regulations. Calculate and validate surcharges based on current updates, accurately reflecting them on invoices, in the system, and on import entries. Manage the request and tracking of import permits prior to the goods’ arrival at the port. Generate Pre-Receipt and SPPC Template for goods entering a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) in the United States, fulfilling the requirements of the relevant authority. Maintain ongoing communication and coordination with: Customs Agency: Daily exchange of information. Broker / Freight Carrier: Weekly status tracking of goods. Insurance Providers: Management and communication of related information (weekly tracking). Desired Competencies Attention to detail and focus on compliance. Organization and multitasking ability.
