Job Objective Develop and control the Group’s construction project budgets, ensuring correct scheduling of material and labor demand, as well as timely responses to budget change requests, thereby guaranteeing continuity and viability of construction projects. ________________________________________ Main Responsibilities • Prepare construction budgets by accurately quantifying materials and labor, calculating volumes according to assigned executive project drawings, to ensure proper material and resource allocation. • Handle requests for change control in construction and maintenance projects arising from adjustments or improvements to the Executive Project, ensuring continuity of the construction process. • Support the Site Resident in addressing material and service requirements by providing timely responses to prevent impacts on construction progress. • Manage requests for extraordinary and additional labor required on-site, ensuring agile handling of incidents occurring during execution. • Perform reconciliation of unit price cards when deviations occur between base and quoted prices not included in the historical catalog, providing technical criteria to facilitate negotiation. • Document and archive budget supports and material/labor demand records in the General Cost Control Repository, ensuring traceability, change control, and accountability. • Keep databases and control mechanisms for the assigned specialty up to date, documenting progress, incidents, and operational development as reference for future projects. • Ensure correct updating of work-generation templates to optimize and standardize quantification by specialty. • Guarantee accurate entry and updating of item catalogs, price lists, and unit price cards in Construnet and OPUS systems, aligning budgets with current market conditions through material and labor procurement. • Provide required information and analysis for departmental continuous improvement projects, supporting the Coordinator’s decision-making. ________________________________________ Performance Indicators • Timeliness in budget delivery. • Budget accuracy and deviation against actual costs. • Timely handling of change requests. • Level of update and quality of documentation in repositories and systems. • Efficiency in responding to site requirements and price reconciliations. • Correct updating of catalogs and unit prices.
