Job Summary: A major insurance company is seeking a Technical Actuarial Auditor to execute internal audit plans, assess controls, and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Execute the Annual Internal Audit Plan based on risk 2. Assess the effectiveness of established controls 3. Follow up on Action Plans for closing audit findings IMPORTANT INSURANCE COMPANY IS SEEKING: HDI SEGUROS: Technical Actuarial Auditor REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science Experience in underwriting, pricing / pricing, reinsurance, risk management, auditing, or information technology — preferably within the financial/insurance sector. Knowledge of internal auditing, regulatory requirements, and/or insurance company operations and risk management. RESPONSIBILITIES: Comply with the Internal Audit Charter, policies, and procedures Execute the Annual Internal Audit Plan (risk-based) for assigned areas/processes/activities according to the work program, to identify deviations and improvement opportunities, assess the effectiveness of established controls, and propose value-added recommendations. Audits are comprehensive and must cover operational, financial, regulatory, systems, and, where applicable, actuarial aspects. Conduct internal control assessment and evaluation as part of all assigned audits through process walkthroughs and documentation via flowcharts or narrative descriptions. Timely follow up on the implementation progress of Action Plans for closing findings identified during internal and external audits, ensuring root causes are mitigated. Fully and appropriately document the closure of observations and update the assigned observations timely in the follow-up tracking sheet.
