Systems Engineer with Accounting Knowledge

Position Summary: We are seeking a Systems Engineer expert in programming, CONTPAQi, SQL, and MySQL to optimize accounting systems, ensure data integrity, and manage technological solutions. Key Highlights: 1. Accounting systems and financial platforms optimization. 2. Management of technological solutions and security of sensitive data. 3. Technological infrastructure administration and operational continuity. We are looking for a Systems Engineer who programs and is an expert in CONTPAQi, SQL, and MySQL. Responsibilities: * Accounting Systems Optimization: Oversee configuration and continuous improvement of financial platforms to ensure operational accuracy. * Data Auditing and Control: Ensure information integrity through data cross-referencing (querying) between the academic system and general accounting. * Technological Solutions Management: Identify and implement new administrative information tools for the accounting department. * Security and Compliance: Establish access protocols and protection measures for sensitive data, complying with current regulations. * Operational Continuity: Administer technological infrastructure (networks, servers, and backups) to guarantee department functionality. Requirements: * Bachelor’s or Engineering degree in Computer Systems or Information Technology, or equivalent. * Minimum 5 to 7 years of demonstrable experience. * Solid knowledge of ContPaqi administrative systems (Accounting, Invoicing, Banking, and Payroll). * Strong understanding of administrative and accounting workflows within an Accounting Department. * Solid knowledge of Windows and Windows Server operating systems. * Administration of Windows and Linux servers. * Certification, training, or verifiable experience in Information Systems Administration, Project Management, Network Administration, Systems Development, and Databases. * Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL databases. * Knowledge of VM VirtualBox software virtualization systems. * Knowledge of HTML, PHP, and Java. * Verifiable Microsoft Office certification. * User support experience. * Knowledge of the SUA system. * Knowledge of Attendance Control Systems. * Knowledge of Cafeteria Systems. * Technical English reading and comprehension.
