This is the Torex Way.**What We Are Looking For:****Education:*** Education: Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Mining Engineer. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * ERP knowledge, preferably SAP. **Experience:*** 5 years of supervision experience in underground mine operations. *(Mandatory)* * 3 years of supervision experience in mine services and infrastructure (ventilation, pumping, water, air). *(Mandatory)* * Experience ensuring operational continuity of critical services in underground mines. *(Mandatory)* * Experience in resource management and operational budget control. *(Mandatory)* * Experience resolving field-based operational contingencies and critical situations. *(Mandatory)* **Key Knowledge Areas****Mine Services and Infrastructure*** Underground mine ventilation systems. * Pumping, drainage, water supply, compressed air networks, and auxiliary services. **Equipment and Systems*** Mine services and support equipment. * Instrumentation applied to mining operations. **Infrastructure*** Civil works in underground mines. * Installation and maintenance of operational infrastructure. **Mining Operations** * Interaction of services with the mining cycle. **Key Responsibilities:****Achieve High Availability at Low Cost**Ensure operation of pumping systems and water, air, and ventilation service installations across all mine operations. * Lead an efficient, high-quality services department that guarantees underground mine supply (air, water, drainage, and ventilation) in required quantity and quality. * Ensure continuity of operational advancement by maintaining critical spares and materials. * Ensure responsible use of auxiliary equipment to maintain permanent operability. * Manage resources responsibly and within budget, optimizing usage and overseeing on-site user stewardship. **Weekly Cleaning Plan for Water Storage Areas (Sumps).**A weekly maintenance plan for each underground mine sump. * Schedule, coordinate, and perform sump cleaning per the scheduled plan. * Administer the budget in accordance with the weekly maintenance plan and required financial standards. **Management of Direct Reports****Leadership*** As needed, personally supervise team members to ensure correct execution of instructions provided. * Inform team members of behavioral improvements required as identified, and recommend application of the disciplinary system to their leader as necessary. * Evaluate team members’ performance and provide coaching and/or feedback to their direct leader to increase development opportunities and promotions. * Develop and implement procedures and usage instructions to facilitate personnel training. **Safety*** Ensure your direct supervisors supply PPE to all operators or team members: * Follow all health and safety regulations. * Supply PPE to team members. * Use appropriate PPE required for specific tasks. * Maintain a clean workplace. * Follow all safety and operational procedures and permits for your specific activities and tasks. * Operate all equipment within specified design parameters. * Participate in cleanup campaigns as required. * Daily safety, environmental, and operational inspections. * Compliance with BPF metrics. * Adhere to safety policies and standards.
