Professional and stable work environment Structural Engineer – Remote Position (U.S.-based Structural Engineering Firm) Job Description A U.S.-based structural engineering firm is seeking a **Civil Engineer with a structural focus** to collaborate on residential and commercial projects in the U.S. The position is 100% remote. A hybrid arrangement may be considered in the future depending on location. Responsibilities * Perform structural analysis and design of elements (steel, concrete, wood, masonry). * Prepare calculation reports and supporting technical documentation. * Review gravity and lateral loads. * Support foundation design and detailing. * Coordinate with drafting and BIM modeling personnel. * Apply U.S. structural codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE) under supervision. * Update calculations and drawings per review comments. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (structural focus preferred). * Minimum 1 year of experience in structural design or analysis (more experience welcome). * Strong knowledge of structural mechanics and load paths. * Ability to work with the U.S. customary unit system (imperial system). * Revit preferred; AutoCAD experience is a plus. Training can be provided. * Experience with structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, RAM, STAAD, or similar) is a plus. * Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a remote work environment. * Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented. * Ability to work independently. * Reliable high-speed internet connection and personal computing equipment capable of running engineering software. * Availability during U.S. business hours is preferred. English Requirement Conversational-level English is required. The role involves collaboration with a U.S.-based engineering firm and comprehension of technical terminology in English.
