To support this mission, Syngenta’s Quality team is seeking a Quality Control Inspector (Temporary, 8 months) in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. **Responsibilities** * Execute the full Quality Control process (sampling, physicochemical analysis, result interpretation, certificates) for raw materials, bulk products, finished goods, and expired items according to established frequencies. * Validate and implement analytical methods for finished product control and residual impurity analysis in solvents and products. * Ensure availability of equipment, analytical methods, consumables, and reagents through a metrological assurance plan and timely procurement management. * Develop/update departmental procedures and specifications per the quality system, train new personnel, and support internal and supplier audit programs. * Monitor area KPIs and apply Statistical Process Control and Quality tools (histograms, Pareto, cause-effect) for continuous improvement and defect prevention. * Support non-conformances and product recovery through laboratory testing to guarantee physicochemical stability and product efficacy. * Maintain a safe environment per HSES policy, implement the 5S program in the laboratory, and propose continuous improvement initiatives. **Requirements** **Essential for this position:** * Technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. * Minimum: 1–2 years of Quality Control experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, or manufacturing industries. * Basic analytical techniques (titrations, spectrophotometry, chromatography). * Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). * Quality management systems (ISO 9001). * Laboratory instrument operation (balances, pH meters, viscometers). * Interpretation of technical specifications. * Software proficiency (Excel, SAP). * Attention to detail and precision. * Analytical ability and results orientation. * Teamwork and effective communication (oral and written). * Organization and time management. **Desirable:** * Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related disciplines. * Experience in agrochemical or crop protection product formulation. **Additional Information** **Be Part of the Syngenta Experience** * Competitive salary and attractive benefits. * Dynamic and international environment. * Modern office environment and collaboration tools. * Forward-looking policies (e.g., remote work, professional sabbaticals). * Supports personal development in a diverse and inclusive environment. **Important:** Beyond simply believing in the power of diversity, Syngenta fosters an inclusive culture that embraces differences in all their forms.
