A solid commercial and industrial company is looking to add the following role to its team:
**Procurement Assistant**
We seek an organized, proactive individual with strong negotiation and supplier follow-up skills, service-oriented and responsive to internal requirements.
**Requirements:**
* Experience using SAP or another ERP system.
* Knowledge of supplier research and engagement.
* Education: Completed bachelor’s degree, advanced incomplete degree, or internship.
* Strong communication skills and sense of responsibility.
* Ability to work under administrative supervision and control.
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Request and analyze quotations from various suppliers.
* Track purchase orders and deliveries.
* Record purchases and transactions in the system.
* Create and update product or material records.
* Review invoices and validate supporting documentation.
* Monitor pending deliveries and backordered items.
* Coordinate committed delivery dates with suppliers.
