Job Summary: Perfetti Van Melle is seeking a Process Technology Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize industrial processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: 1. Optimize industrial processes to improve efficiency and quality. 2. Ensure compliance with ISO systems and food safety. 3. Lead improvement and standardization projects in Line Centric. **About the Role** Perfetti Van Melle (manufacturer of Mentos, Chupa Chups, Airheads) is one of the world’s largest confectionery and chewing gum manufacturers and distributors, with global brands enjoyed in over 150 countries. We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Process Technology Engineer to join our growing team. **What You’ll Do** * Design, analyze, and optimize Line Centric industrial processes to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability. This role involves identifying improvement opportunities, implementing new technologies and techniques, and ensuring processes comply with safety standards and environmental regulations. * Ensure compliance with ISO and Food Safety systems in Line Centric. * Analyze all daily quality results: customer complaints, process deviations, and finished product, and reduce NCs (Non-Conformities) in your Line Centric. * Standardize all visual controls on machines or areas within your LC. * Analyze all losses related to raw materials and packaging materials and build a loss tree. * Analyze all customer complaints and work on root cause analysis plans. * Review, define, and establish all line parameters in the LC. * Owner of Centerline administration and compliance. * Improve Centerline performance to eliminate defects and increase OEE. * Troubleshoot / Eliminate process failures. * Ensure quality audits on the production floor. * Support all projects within the LC. * Plan and validate: new materials (raw and packaging), productivity projects, and capacity projects. * Control all food safety documentation on the production floor. * Train all LC members on quality-related topics. * Review all LC logbook comments. * Track all quality reports. * Develop / Improve standards. **What We Need From You** **Education**: Completed high school diploma and/or bachelor’s degree preferred. **Experience**: Minimum 2 years. **Training**: Good Manufacturing Practices, Integrated Management System, Food Safety, Food Fraud and Defense, Safety, Hygiene and Environment.
