Job description and activity details **What is the sourcing department?** The sourcing department identifies and manages suppliers to procure the materials and services required by the company. It analyzes pricing, quality, and delivery timelines to make strategic procurement decisions. It is a critical component of the supply chain, as sourcing decisions directly impact costs, product quality, and business success. **Key responsibilities of the position** * Track information requests with suppliers in Mexico and the United States. * Review and organize technical documentation (drawings, DMRS, and related files). * Update pricing and other information in internal systems. * Support communication with suppliers to ensure accurate and complete information. * Generate basic cost reports, price lists, and variance analyses. * Support management of First Article POs (first-article purchase orders).
